Description
The Huainan coal mine was established in 1897, with a mining history of over 120 years. It was once one of the five major coal mines in the country and has made significant contributions to ensuring energy security in East China since the founding of the country, earning it the titles of "Coal Capital of East China" and "Hometown of Power." In March 1998, Huainan Mining Group was restructured from Huainan Mining Bureau, and in July of the same year, it was transferred to the management of Anhui Province by the former Ministry of Coal. In May 2018, due to the need for overall restructuring and listing of the enterprise, with the approval of the Anhui Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, Huaihe Energy Holding Group was officially established, and in October of the same year, it became the controlling shareholder of Huainan Mining Group.
